Mommy Moments

Posted by: Sai on: May 12, 2008

Yesterday was my 2nd “Mother’s Day”.  We had lunch with the family and went shopping afterwards with my sisters and mother-in-law. Hubby gave me a very beautiful flower arrangement (if only it could last forever).  The weather was great… it was a very good day. Browsing online I read some nice stories about ‘mommy moments’ and it made me think of mine. I still consider myself a new mom; there are lots more to learn and I know there is soooo much more to look forward to. But I love being able to comfort my baby when she’s crying, or when I sing to her and she tries to copy, or I see her after a long’s days work and she gives me the biggest smile and the biggest hug. And this is just the beginning. Being a mommy made me understand the true meaning of unconditional love. So my mommy moment is when I first looked into her eyes.

Hats off to all the mothers in the world. Let them know they are appreciated everyday not just on Mother’s Day.
